How do I run a transaction by manually entering card information?

  1. Tap the Subtotal row to go to the Review Order

  1. Review your order.
  1. Tap the Select Tender button at the bottom of the screen to proceed with the transaction. Tap

  1. If tips are enabled in app settings, you will now see the Tip screen.

  1. Determine the amount of tender received, and input the tip amount accordingly. If you need to enter a Custom amount, tap Custom and perform the following:
    • Tap the $ to toggle between USD currency and percentage (%).
    • Enter the tip amount, as provided by the customer
    • Tap OK
    • Tap the check-mark in the upper right hand corner to go to return to the tip screen.

  1. Tap Done to proceed.
  1. You will now be presented with the payment screen.

  1. Using the keypad, enter the following information:
    • Card Number
    • Card Expiration Date
    • CVV (If enabled in app settings)
    • Zip Code (if enabled in app settings)
  1. Tap Charge
  2. Once the Keyed transaction is successful, customer will be shown the Signature screen. Please note: If Signature Capture is disabled in app settings, or if signature is not required due to a low value transaction, they will not be asked to collect a signature.

  • Ask your customer to sign on the screen using their finger.
  • After providing the signature, the customer may tap
  1. If the transaction is approved, they will be taken to the Receipt screen (Please note that if the transaction is declined you will be taken to the Payment Information screen to run the transaction again.)

  1. The customer now has the option to receive an email receipt by entering their personal email address, and tapping the blue Paper Airplane. They may also tap No, thanks if they don’t want a receipt.
  2. At this point the transaction is complete. The customer should now return the device to the merchant.
