How do I connect the RP450-Series reader to my device?

Posted: Nov 28, 2016

There are three ways to connect the RP450c/RP457 reader:

USB
USB-connectivity is now supported on Android Only for RP450, RP457, RP750, Moby/3000 and Moby/8500 series readers connected with an USB On-The-Go (OTG) cable. New users will see a notification when logging into the application. Please note: This feature requires firmware v8.16 or higher.

To connect via USB, please see here.

Audio Jack
Connect the RP450c/RP457 reader by inserting the stem of the reader into the audio jack of your mobile device. The jack is detachable from the RP450c/RP457 unit, and can be inserted to either of the reader’s ports based on the location of the audio socket on your mobile device.

Pairing via Bluetooth
