How do I know the status of the battery in my RP170c Reader?

A red LED light displays next to the USB connector that indicates the battery status:

  • Battery fully charged: Red LED is on all the time
  • Battery low: Red LED blinks for 1 second every 3 seconds alternatively
  • Battery very low: Red blinks for 1 second every 6 seconds alternatively
  • Battery out of capacity: Red LED off
  • Battery charging: Red LED on and off every 1 second alternatively
