You can take a payment one of two ways using the RP170c Reader:

Contactless

1. Connect the RP170c Reader to your mobile device.
2. Log into the ROAMpay X4 app.
3. Step through the transaction; at the Choose Tender screen tap Credit.
4. Tap the customer’s phone or card against the Reader.
5. A message will display in the app when the transaction finishes processing.

Magnetic Stripe

1. Connect the RP170c Reader to your mobile device.
2. Log into the ROAMpay X4 app.
3. Step through the transaction; at the Choose Tender screen tap Credit.
4. Swipe the customer’s credit card through the Reader.
5. A message will display in the app when the transaction finishes procsesing.
