Please note: Your reader must be paired via Bluetooth before performing Remote Firmware Update (RFU). To connect, please see the section on Connecting Via Bluetooth for your specific reader.

If your reader requires an update, you should be prompted on login with the following notification:

If not, you can check for updates at any time by following the instructions below:

1) Navigate to the settings menu, and click on Bluetooth Readers.

2) Click on the connected reader that you wish to check for a firmware update.

3) You will be prompted with the following screen. Click on Check for Update.

4) You will be either redirected to the Reader Update Required prompt, or you will see the No Update Required prompt, shown below:
