Industry’s leading Mobile Commerce Platform to also unveil the first in a new series of low cost EMV mobile card readers.
BOSTON, January 14 2013 — ROAM, the leading mobile commerce platform provider, today announced that it will demo a suite of new retail mobile point of sale solutions that expand mobile functionality beyond payments, at the National Retail Federation (NRF) BIG Show in New York City on January 13-16, 2013. ROAM will also demonstrate the first in a new series of low cost EMV mobile card readers – the RP350x. “It’s one thing to bring out a chip reader, and there are many out there, but the complication comes when the EMV client and server side applications have to be integrated with the phone, says Paull. “ROAM was able to leverage Ingenico’s EMV expertise in producing a fully-compliant solution that offers more functionality than any other in the market.”
